It was 2007 that Meno travelled for the first time to the wondrous country of India, where he learned the art of flutemaking, taught by Indian instrument makers, Iranian like-minders and German colleagues. Back in Europe he discovered bushes of reed resembling the bamboo growing in india.

He took two little sticks of this  bush, one of it he "equipped" with a couple of holes. From the other one he imitated a simplified mouthpiece that resembled the one of a saxophone. The sound of this little miracle instrument stunned the people who got to hear this, and so he set things up for work. Correct tuning,  specifically polished  mouthpieces , carefully selected bamboo, everything to get more and more close to the saxophone.

The Wooba Sax was born!
